The Goose Game rules are simple. The game begins by choosing a goose and then everyone rolling one of the dice. The player who rolls the highest number of points gets to start.
The players now take turns rolling both dice. The number of pips indicates how many spaces the goose may move forward. If you roll a 4 and a 5 on your first turn, you may move directly to space 53. If you roll a 3 and a 6 on the first turn, you may place your goose on space 26.
Did you land on the image of the goose during the game? Then move forward on the game board once more by the number of points rolled. Did you land on one of the special squares? Follow the specific Goose Game rules that apply to these squares. If another player's goose is already on a square, stay on your old square.
The game ends when one player manages to land exactly on square 63 on the final roll. If this is not successful and you have rolled more than the required number of eyes, you must count back from square 63. If you then land on a square with a goose, you go back the number of eyes rolled.
